Current Coverage/Beneficiary Information

Follow the instructions below to view your current voluntary coverage information, including beneficiary designations and Cash Accumulation Fund balance (if participating in the GUL plan).

 

Current Coverage Information

To Access your Coverage Information:

  • Click on the My Account link in the top right corner.
  • Click on the product name you wish to view from the list displayed.

 

Note: If you contribute to the Cash Accumulation Fund, the fund balance (cash value) amount displayed is as of the end of the prior month.

 

To download/print a confirmation statement of current coverage?

  • Click on the My Account link in the top right corner.
  • Click on the product name you wish to view from the list displayed.
  • Click on Print Summary icon at the bottom of the screen

Current Beneficiary Information

To Access your current Beneficiary Designations:

  • Click on the My Account link in the top right corner.
  • Click on the product name you wish to view from the list displayed.
  • Click on Beneficiary Information
  •  

To Change/Edit your current Beneficiary Designations:

  • Click on the My Account link in the top right corner.
  • Click on the product name you wish to view from the list displayed.
  • Click on “Beneficiary Information”.
  • Click on “Edit” for whichever designation you wish to update.
  • Read and acknowledge the agreement, then click “Continue”.
  • Follow the steps on the Beneficiary Designation page.
  • Print the confirmation for your records, if needed.

You may wish to complete a paper designation form to make your designation, particularly if you have estate tax considerations or have needs that are more complicated that this online system allows. We strongly encourage you to consult the legal advice of an attorney in these instances. If you submit your beneficiary designation via a paper Beneficiary Designation Form, we will enter it into the Cigna Trusted Advisor® website so you can view it online through My Account.

 

Note: If the listed beneficiary is a trustee or a trust, you will need to enter the trustee's name, the name of the trust and the date of the trust agreement. The trust document must be presented in order for the claim to be processed.
